NACDL 18th Annual Forensic Science and Technology Seminar from April 24 to 26, 2025, in Las Vegas

Looking forward to seeing everyone at NACDL’s 18th Annual Forensic Science and Technology Seminar from April 24 to 26, 2025, at the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas!

The seminar offers two main tracks for attendees:

  1. Forensic Science Track:

    • Topics will cover utilizing and managing expert witnesses, impeaching deviations from evidence standards, fire investigations, AFIS searches and latent print comparisons, STRmix, serology testing, DNA transfer, bloodstain pattern analysis, and the science of cannabis and THC.

  2. AI & Technology Track:

    • This track will focus on AI solutions for criminal defense, artificial intelligence in legal practice, challenging automated suspicion technologies, analyzing cellular location data, understanding facial recognition, electronic evidence in digital searches, addressing AI bias, and evaluating electronic data recorders.

The seminar will feature a distinguished group of experts in various fields, including forensic science, digital forensics, and law, who will share their knowledge and provide critical insights for defense attorneys. Attendees will also have opportunities for networking, including a welcoming reception on the evening of the first day.
